'Trusties: Human Wheel' - mahtiprogen kuningasteke « Result #2 on Jun 5, 2009, 6:22pm »
Modernia progea soittava oululainen Trusties julkaisee kolmannen CD:nsä 'Human Wheel' 6.6.2009. Levy tarjoaa 70-minuuttisen matkan ihmisyyden ytimeen, ja tämä ei ole sitten mikään huviretki. Yksilön rooli nähdään koe-henkilönä testissä tehtävänään juosta ja pitää pyörä pyörimässä, sekä ihailla järjestelmän suuria saavutuksia ja luomuksia. Vapaudesta saa tietenkin haaveilla.
Musiikillisesti levyä sävyttää kitara-vetoinen tekstuuri yhdistettynä luonnollisen monimutkaisiin rytmeihin ja tiiviiseen metalli-pitoiseen ilmaisuun. Kuultavissa on laaja kirjo vaikutteita eri tyylisuunnista kuitenkin luontevasti paketoituna. Nykyään viisi-henkinen bändi saatetaan jopa nähdä esiintymässä jossain päin Suomea vielä tänä vuonna.

Art Safari records aloitti toimintansa julkaisemalla dasputnik bändin 'Parapsykosis' debyytti albumin. Musiikki cd:llä liikkuu raskaasta aivohalvauksesta surffaamiseen, herkästä melodraamasta funkkiin ja jazzrokista Intian sulosointuihin. Kokonaisuutta leimaa omalaatuinen soundi, joka pitää kaiken yhdessä.

Debut album 'Parapsykosis' from the band dasputnik has been released by Art Safari records. The music in the cd is progressive spacerock with improvisation and also other genres are picked up on the way. Everything is compined together with original sound.
Kumina.org's debut album "Entropia" out now « Result #7 on Jan 7, 2009, 9:59pm »
The Finnish group kumina.org has released it's debut album, Entropia. The album features ten pieces of eclectic music crossing between instrumental prog and fusion ranging from thoroughly composed material to fierce collective improvisation.
The record contains energetic hard hitting tunes as well as easy going grooves. Kindered spirits in the music scene are bands such as Niacin and Medeski, Martin and Wood.
Entropia is composed, arranged, recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by kumina.org.
New CD w/ Adrian Belew, Nick D'Virgilio, Others « Result #9 on Sept 3, 2008, 10:25pm »
Hello Progressive Rock Fans,
I'd like to introduce myself and tell everyone about a special project of mine that was recently completed. My name is Chris G and I am a drummer. I've performed and/or recorded with some players in progressive rock circles including Spock's Beard, Nick D'Virgilio, Mike Keneally, and Shawn "Yogi" Farley.
Four years ago, my older brother Andrew passed away at age 40. We had grown up playing and creating music together, stoking each other's rock star dreams. Andrew left behind a box of four-track demos that he'd painstakingly put together over many, many years. I decided to take some of my favorite songs out of that box, get the best musicians I could find, and make the songs into a "proper album." This was in late 2004 that I started the project.
The new CD, entilted Reflections - An Act Of Glass, is now complete. Here are the musicians that are featured on the album:
